Info meeting on Dutch Embassy Small Grants Programs

As RPDTTD, we organized a meeting on 17 October 2014, with the participation of Leyla Barlas-Aslan, the Istanbul director of MATRA and Human Rights small grants programs of the Consulate of the Netherlands.
Our guest speaker Barlas-Aslan informed the participants on the main aims of the programs and on what kinds of projects were supported in previous years. She emphasized that projects should be designed with an emphasis on implementation action, not research. It is expected that new calls will be open in 2015. Barlas-Aslan stated that before making official project submissions, her office can give feedback on the suitability of project ideas.
